Critical Studies in Korean Literature and Culture in Translation
This series will introduce English-language readers to critically acclaimed works written by leading Korean scholars in the arts and humanities. Korean studies is increasing in size and importance around the world—this series intends to support that growth by augmenting the body of English-language work on Korea through the translation of new and important scholarship by South Korean scholars. This includes books produced recently by a new generation of Korean scholars as well as older works that have not previously appeared in English. The studies will appeal to both academics and students interested in Korea and will include substantive introductions, as well as critical and explanatory notes and select bibliographies, by the series board.
