Anthropology of Well-Being: Individual, Community, Society
Well-being is a central and important component of daily life and life history. The Anthropology of Well-Being: Individual, Community, Society series seeks to identify and understand the complex concept of well-being. Quality of life, life satisfaction, and happiness are viewed and examined at the individual level, the community level, and the societal level. This series encourages and promotes research into how well-being is defined culturally; how it is utilized across different social, economic, and ethnic groups; how it has promoted stability and resilience; and how it can be implemented as a goal in resisting vulnerabilities and in adaptation. Books in this series will include monographs and edited collections by a range of academics, from rising scholars to experts in relevant fields.
